SANSKRIT DAY AT MAHRATTA
The living man who finds Spirit, finds Truth. But if he fail, he sinks among fouler shapes. The man who can see the same Spirit in every creature, clings neither to this nor that, attains immortal life. (Kena Up. ii.5)
We are coming together, in person, for this term’s Sanskrit Morning, to continue our reflection on the Kena Upaniṣad. Enthusiasm and attention are all that are required for the day, which will include traditional chanting, guided study of the verses, and quiet reflection.
NOTE: This morning is for those with some understanding of the Sanskrit alphabet.
Study sheets will be provided.
