THE REPUBLIC BOOK 9:
15 March 2020

A DAY WITH PLATO

How do we define justice? Plato wants to define justice, and to define it in such a way as to show that justice is worthwhile in and of itself. The tyrant, is the most miserable of men, a slave to his own desires; the just man is free and the happiest of men; each person must learn to govern himself using reason.
