An Introductory Course in Sanskrit
The Sanskrit faculty is delighted to announce a new Sanskrit course for beginners.
The main focus will be chanting, learning the alphabet, and reading and writing simple words and sentences. This beautiful, powerful and transformative language is the language of the ancient Vedas. It speaks to the essence of who we are and facilitates our understanding and appreciation of all that we learn in our Philosophy groups.
If you are intrigued in any way by Sanskrit, this is the ideal place to begin!
The course will be held online via Zoom and will run for 10 weeks. The link will be provided in the confirmation email when you register.
Fees are $100 for the 10-week term
(Free for current students of the School of Practical Philosophy).
Two groups are on offer – Wednesdays and Saturdays. Both groups cover the same material.
When (2 groups – each runs for 10 weeks):
Wednesdays from February 18, 8:00am to 9:15am
Saturdays from February 21, 8:00am to 9:15am
