PLATO DAY

SUNDAY MARCH 8

For the upcoming Plato Day, we will read together and consider the third myth of what happens to our immortal souls after death in the Dialogues of Plato. This myth appears in Plato’s Phaedo where Socrates presents arguments on the immortality of the soul and then presents this myth.  This is Socrates’ last day. After this myth he will bathe and swallow the poison that he is required to take. We will also read together that section of the Dialogue.

Please join us for this event.

Morning Tea will be served as well as a vegetarian Greek lunch.

The cost will be $50 for the day. The capacity is 25 people.
