PLATO’S LAWS (ONLINE)

The Laws is Plato’s last written work, believed to have been written when Plato was 80 years old, shortly before his death in 348 BC.  It is Plato’s last word to humanity offering insights and practical advice as to how best to live together, so that wisdom, freedom and friendship might prevail.  Plato placed great emphasis on the Lawgiver as an educator because understanding and reasoning are essential components for establishing a common law.
