The world turns eternally. All things turn in endless cycles of movement, turning and returning to turn again. Mountains move slower than clouds, but they move, nonetheless. The earth turns around the sun and the sun itself around its own centre.

But what of stillness? All the strength of a wheel lies in its still centre. Without it, a wheel can’t turn.

Upon what still centre do the worlds turn?

In this Breathing Space module, we’ll spend some time wondering about the power of stillness. We’ll consider its fruits, what happens when things begin in stillness and what flows from its force.
