SANSKRIT FOR PHILOSOPHY STUDENTS
NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SANSKRIT LANGUAGE IS REQUIRED
THIS COURSE PROVIDES A THOROUGH GROUNDING IN THE SANSKRIT LANGUAGE
The nine-term course is structured around four themes:
- SPIRIT ~ an introduction to the spiritual significance of Sanskrit
- SOUNDING ~ Accurate and fluent pronunciation, reading and sounding
- PRINCIPLES ~ Exploration of the beautiful grammatical structure of the language
- PRACTICE ~ Step-by-step exercises in writing and translation
